How It All Started!

"Sure!" Natasha

Eleven years ago, Natasha moved next door to my family. Both of us are introverts and normally don't just strike up a conversation, but somehow - one day, we did. She was sitting on her grandmother's outside porch and me on my mother's. I don't remember exactly how we started talking, but we did. From that point on, we became friends. We would hop over the tiny fence separating our otherwise connected porches and knock for one another. Our teenage years were filled with sleepovers, Icees from Wawa, baking, and the paranormal. We would spend nights watching paranormal shows and horror movies whilst we stuffed our faces with chocolate chip cookies. Great, now I'm craving chocolate chip cookies!
We also loved to exchange our paranormal experiences. It's something that is often frowned upon by others. My other friends either didn't believe in the paranormal or were afraid of it.
We lived only a few blocks from a graveyard. As we grew, so did our curiosity.
We knew nothing about investigating other than what we saw on Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures, but our lack of knowledge wasn't enough to contain our curiosity. One day I felt the need to act on that curiosity, so I just asked Natasha, "Want to go ghost hunting?" and history was made!

Our first investigation was not much of an investigation. It was exactly what I asked Natasha prior. A ghost hunt. It was fun and pretty much just that. Nothing happened, but I can't contribute that to the graveyard we were in. We had no idea what we were doing and only had a mediocre camera and a flashlight. We didn't even have a flashlight that would be appropriate for the "flashlight trick" that Ghost Hunters made famous. Not that the flashlight trick is my favorite tactic for investigating, but to become experienced you need to be a beginner and that is exactly what we were. Beginners.

Fast forward to about five years later and we are much approved! We have investigated many places and many times. Our tools have grown and so did our knowledge. We've caught AMAZING pieces of evidence. Not that you always catch evidence. Sometimes the place just isn't haunted, but sometimes it is-and when it is, the Spirit Seekers will be there to let you know!
